2. Re: NVIDIA Quadro FX3800 Hardware Acceleration ?
Missteach May 11, 2010 3:52 PM (in response to Harm Millaard)Hi,
Cheers for the quick response. I'll go over to Camtasia's forums to see if they can think of a solution to the considerably larger file sizes that occur as a result of not being able to reduce the acceleration.
Thanks

3. Re: NVIDIA Quadro FX3800 Hardware Acceleration ?
Harm Millaard May 11, 2010 4:08 PM (in response to Missteach)Acceleration and file size are about as related as a Formula 1 car and the growth of pot plants.

4. Re: NVIDIA Quadro FX3800 Hardware Acceleration ?
Missteach May 11, 2010 4:54 PM (in response to Harm Millaard)Sorry, I don't understand your response.
In XP Pro, a screen recording with Hardware Acceleration set at 'FULL' results in a file size 3 times (approx) the size of a screen recording set at 'NONE'.
I was looking for a similar reduced setting to use with my graphics card that results in a lower file size. The data rate reduces when set at 'NONE' resulting in a lower file size - perhaps it's related.
