Using DW Page Properties to create a basic CSS style sheet
You can set a:hover via the css panel BUT I would advise to write all your css manually. I say this because it gives you greater control, you get to understand what is happening and it is far quicker:
Having said that go>Window>Css styles>Click on the little plus icon down at the bottom to create a new css style rule.
Choose from the drop menu>Compound(based on your selection). Type in the Selector Name box - a:hover - click ok. Now just select the attributes you want applied to the 'hover' from the css style menu.
Thanks both for the help - problem solved. I am trying to write my rules manually for exactly the reason you suggest, osgood. I just wondered why
the hover and active and visited options were nowhere to be found. I never thought about them being "compound." Make sense now. Again, thank you both for your assistance.
