Don't know if there is a way to edit that function...
Quite sure that you have eliminated the following also, but this is what I
use, when not placing a timer in the framescript:
- write a script using the milliseconds, and place it on a sprite instead
- use a timerobject (again milliseconds)
There are many reasons not to use the tempo channel and no reasons I know of
TO use it. It's the bain of our existence.
If you feel as though you can't integerate a frame timer then your code
could probably be written better. It such a small piece of code to add the
