    Problem with VideoElement and ScaleMode.ZOOM

    ali_o_kan

      Hello,

      I have a problem when I use a ScaleMode.ZOOM to VideoElement.

      var videoElement : VideoElement = new VideoElement(new URLResource("url.flv"));
      videoElement.smoothing = true;
      var layout : LayoutMetadata = new LayoutMetadata();
      videoElement.addMetadata(LayoutMetadata.LAYOUT_NAMESPACE, layout);
      layout.scaleMode = ScaleMode.ZOOM;
      layout.percentWidth = 100;
      layout.percentHeight = 100;
      layout.verticalAlign = VerticalAlign.MIDDLE;
      layout.horizontalAlign = HorizontalAlign.CENTER;
      mediaContainer.addMediaElement(videoElement);
      var mediaPlayer : MediaPlayer = new MediaPlayer();
      mediaPlayer.media = videoElement;

      Early (2-3 frames), the video is not the right size (bad_resize.png), after resizing is good (good_resize.png);

      bad_resize.pnggood_resize.png

      I suspect that the first resize is not in the right direction (height / width).

      If I use MonsterDebugger, the problem lasts longer.

      Have a solution?

      thank you,

      Laurent
