Methods (GET or POST):
specifies a method for sending variables associated with the SWF file to load. If no variables are present, omit this parameter; otherwise, specify whether to load variables using a GET or POST method. GET appends the variables to the end of the URL and is used for a small number of variables. POST sends the variables in a separate HTTP header and is used for long strings of variables.
You can get information about any actionscript keyword by highlighting
the word in the actions window and then clicking on the "?" in the upper
right corner of the window. This will open HELP to that item. In the
case of getURL, you will get a page of information that explains each of
the parameters and shows some example code.

I am using Internet Explorer 5.2.3 for mac. My Flash Movie previews from Dreamweaver html page in IE, BUT the embedded flash buttons do not work in IE. They work in other browsers. I have installed Flash player 9 for all browsers.
What could be the reason for this? Thank you for your help, it is much appreciated. kathleen
