    Preview Files

I am really new, but learning.  Just finished a project.  quick question.  what are preview files.  I assume they are rendered files, but am not sure.  Second when you are finished with a project I assume you delete these files, and the premiere pro file associate with it.

Sorry if these questions are basic in nature.

      Thanks in advance

Yes, Premiere will save rendered timeline areas into video files there.

If you delete these files nothing will be lost. You'll just need to re-render red marked areas in the timeline.

You can delete them once job is finished, to save disk space.
