I just discovered Adobe Stratus and it's a pleasure to see this new feateures.
I am currently developping a flah multi player game. Originally I used a php socket server to ensure the communication. But it would intersted me a lot to make the users communicate directly in order to save lot of bandwidth and memory.
My only problem is that the users exchange XML data and i need ABSOLUTELY to make sure that the data are corrctely transmmited and received. Originally, i worked with tcp socket...
I am quit disappointed to discover that Stratus only works with UDP connection.
My question is : "Is there a way to by pass this restriction or to make the udp connection reliable enough to fit my requirements ?"
Thank you very much for your attention and for your answers !!"
by default, data transmission over RTMFP connections is fully reliable. RTMFP is a complete transport protocol that runs over UDP.
