I may be a minority with the way that I use paths, but I use them religiously. Often times while retouching an ad, the file could end up with dozens if not a hundred paths. Currently there is no way to organize them in the list other than dragging, and if another person has to find a path... good luck. It would be great if paths could be arranged in groups much like layers... just to make it easier to sort and find the ones needed.
Thanks for consideration!
You're not alone on this... I think path groups, just like layer groups, would be helpful and probably easy to implement.
I am not an Illustrator user (much), but I know that I love the way guides are associated with a particular layer in Illustrator.
Just thought I would mention that, since it's sort of layer/organizational related. I think there is a separate mention of this in feature requests, so I apologize for the redundancy all over again :^)
Thanks for corroborating my suggestion! I'm not a big illustrator user myself either, but I'd definitely be in support of more advanced organization methods in both programs like group paths and element specific guides.
