HTTP streaming with Flash 10.1 is currently in prerelease. You can find out more about it (including the link to sign up) in the release notes for our latest release, which is on the Downloads page:
Still can not find HTTP dynamic streaming related demo in the latest build (095). The "DynamicStreamingDemo" in the packet uses FMS instead of HTTP as dynamic streaming source.
I am also trying to setup a simple environment with OSMF using HTTP Dynamic Streaming, however, the two don't seem to co-exist in any examples or configuration guides.
If any one has sample code for using HTTP Dynamic Streaming with an OSMF player, I could really use it. Thanks!
+1 on this request.
I am also interested in finding an example/walk through on how to use the OSMF VideoElement with MBR HTTP streaming (dont need the skins etc).
Related question: is HTTP dynamic streaming released or is it still in pre-release form?
http streaming has been released last month. Here's another forum regarding to http streaming.
OSMFPlayer is the example player that supports http streaming. From OSMF perspective asides from FMS setup, you'd just need to use DefaultMediaFactory and load a F4M file that has http streaming information to playback http streaming instead of a media file such as a flv or a mp4.
