I've downloaded the Flash CS5 Trial and been trying it out. Its a big improvement on Flash CS4, its much faster and better designed.
However, I'm having a serious problem with saving files. When I save the file Flash CS5 quits silently and the saved changes are lost. This happens roughly 25% of the time. As you can imagine this is a pretty serious problems and I won't be upgrading until its fixed or I have a work around.
Has anyone seen this before? Are their any workarounds? Is there someway I should be reporting this to Adobe?
BTW My system is Windows XP, 2GB RAM, Core Duo 2 and the flash project has a lot of imported illustrator graphics.
I emailed you off-list to get the FLA file to investigate.
FYI - you can report bugs at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform with Product name = "Flash Authoring"
Thanks for emailing me your FLA. Can you also email me one of the Illustrator files you imported prior to saving that caused this issue?
