Flash Catalyst performance can degrade upon attempting to import large or complex art files. If you are experiencing trouble importing PSD or AI artwork, first try closing and reopening your Flash Catalyst project. If this doesn't work, refer to the table below to ensure you are adhering to the limits on imported art files.
| Maximum bitmap image size | 2048px x 2048px |
| Maximum total allowed pixel count | 20 million pixels |
| Maximum total allowed object count | 6500 objects |
| Maximum file size | 40MB |
Note: Flash Catalyst can only import AI and PSD files from CS4 or later.
