Apparently Adobe added more features in flash video with each successive flash version, so earlier versions of flash video are only compatible with the same earlier version of the flash player.
I'm trying to find out which video features are compatible with each of the flash players. This is because I want to create video for the lowest possible version of the flash player, so more people will be able to view it.
I wondered if anyone knows where I could get this information?
Appreciate any assistance.
I usually go for FP8 since it supports VP6 and have built successful projects using this codec. HD starts with FP9, while Sorenson (natively supported by FP streaming) is supported all the way down to version 6. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the information.
Just one further question if that's ok. Is it possible to apply a drop shadow to your video in flash CS4?
