Why is null. being added to table names using Custom Connection String?

I'm using a Custom Connection string in CS4, using ASP VBscript and connecting to an Access 2007 Database on a Windows 2003 Server. I am using this string "Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=" + Server.MapPath("\mysite\_private\phones.accdb")

      The Connection test is successful.

However, when the database tables are listed they are all renamed with the prefix null. e.g. StaffDetails becomes null.StaffDetails. So when using the Simple view to create a recordset, and then Testing it I get the 'Syntax error in FROM clause'. OK I know it's because the null. is there and I can edit the SQL in Advanced view to remove it, but why is null. being added as a prefix to my table names and can I stop it happening inside or outside of Dreamweaver?
