What exactly do you need to do with this calendar?
The Flex SDK provides the DateField component, or the DateChooser component if you do not want to use the DateField directly.
I always used those ones, so I don't know any other calendar implementation...
thks for your reply! I want to display each day of the current month like in a grid for each day a box ... next step I want to display a small icon or whatever indicates that this date has an event. But in case I know how to generate the grid for a selected month or the current would be a good start.
Found a few googling:
You should be able to get started from those...
Have you taken a look at the Flextras Calendar? http://www.flextras.com/?event=ProductHome&productID=15
We put a lot of thought into building an easily extensible architecture for Flex Developers. You can download the free developer edition to try it out and see how it works for you. I'd welcome any feedback you had.
Also check out The Flex Show Video series on Creating Flex Components ( http://www.theflexshow.com/blog/index.cfm/Fifteen-Minutes-With-Flex ). We have a 12 episode series strictly on building a Calendar / MonthDisplay Component. The first episode is here: http://www.theflexshow.com/blog/index.cfm/2009/3/2/The-Flex-Show--Creating-Flex-Components --Episode-1-Project-Setup and it explains a lot of our thoughts on architecting the Flextras Calendar.
Further to Sebastien's set of links, I have obtained the following:
The source folder contains .project, .flexProperties, & .actionScriptProperties files along with src, html-template, & .settings folders.
I would appreciate advise on how to use these in a new project. My attempt to import the project file was unsuccessful as the import wizard demands a .fxp file.
Look forward to a prompt response.
Import a project directory, not an fxp file. You should have both options in the "import project" settings.
