Curt Y May 25, 2010 6:27 PM (in response to Jerry Long)The preview only shows 20 to conserve space, but the gallary will show all of them.

Jerry Long May 25, 2010 6:38 PM (in response to Curt Y)I spent over 2 hours on the phone today with Adobe trying to get an answer but was told my case was being escallated to a supervisor. No answer as to why the Html galleries are limited to only 60 photos. I have a gallery on my website with over 200 photos. Don't do a whole lot of good if you are limited to just 60 photos.

SG... May 25, 2010 11:31 PM (in response to Jerry Long)Hi Jerry,
Have you used this feature in CS4, and CS5 is behaving differently?
I'll see if I can also get some answers for your questions. What Win OS are you using?

Jerry Long May 26, 2010 10:58 AM (in response to SG...)Steve,
I have windows xp pro service pack 3. I only used the flash gallery in CS4 before. Trying the html gallery in CS5 for a client. Yes I did find out if you save the file, all the images show up. Adobe's technical support didn't know why only 20 show up in preview. They really need to make the html gallery work for more than 60 images. There are plenty of wedding photographers out here who might like to put up to 1000 images in a gallery for clients. Nice that they made it easier to create galleries with captions using the description from the metadata, but short sighted on what we photographers really need.

John Joslin May 26, 2010 3:04 PM (in response to Jerry Long)You are right to point out the shortcomings of Adobe Bridge web photo galleries.
There are several free highly customisable gallery generators out there that do a far better job.

6. Re: Html web gallery does not show more than 20 images in preview.
SG... May 26, 2010 6:07 PM (in response to Jerry Long)Hi Jerry,
I'll send your disappointment with tech support on to folks that can affect change. Granted the 20 image limit for Previewing is jarring and seems broken, Tech support should be able to find that it's by design quicker than what you experienced. (The preview is intended to be a lighter weight preview of what a full save will provide).
To confirm, I'm not seeing a 60 image limit on Save. If you are getting stopped at 60 images, then we need to dig further into your particular case.
As to the HTML gallery template, I don't think it was in high demand for Ps/Br users. Lightroom has a much better solution and seems to being moving forward at a more reasonable clip. I've been trying to find 3rd party templates for HTML galleries in Bridge but haven't found any so far.
regards,
steve

jwestpro Jan 4, 2012 1:20 PM (in response to Curt Y)Not true, the saved gallery when ran also shows only 20. incerdibly annoying B.S.
ok, upon further investigation into the created image folders, all the images appear there. However, I never have more than 50 in one of these galleries so I cannot confirm how many images are the maximum amount that will work using this method.
