The Flex Profiler analyses your code as it runs and tells you how much memory each object consumes, how many instances it has, how often a method is called, what its execution time is and so on and so forth...
I had some problems using it with Firefox but worked well with IE.
Thanks Karl for the prompt response .
I am making a call to a Java Method from my Action Script function , or getting data from Java Method into the ActionScript function .
So my question is , will the Flex Profiler will be applicable in this case as it internally calls Java Methods .
If what you want to assess is the response time when you call a service, you can use the Charles Web Debugging Proxy as it is able to monitor calls using the AMF protocol.
If what you want to monitor are the ActionScript objects created from Java in the class that gets the result from the service, you can use the Flex Profiler.
