I am trying to define a new site in 'Manage Sites' window. the following warning keeps coming up and doesn't allow me to save the site.
I have created a folder named 'SpryAssets'. Even that doesn't help. Any help?. .
In the Site Setup dialog, go to the Advanced > Spry panel, and specify your SpryAssets folder there.
This is how it went...
I specified the SpryAssets folder in Spry pane of 'Site Setup' Dialogue box...
But when I pressed the save button, this window popped up.
I know there's something I'm missing, probably very basic. Since, I don't intend to use Spry for now, can I just this thing off somewhere? Through some kind of preference or something? I've checked the help docs as well. Couldn't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Did you type that path in by hand? It looks like there may be an extra space in the Volume name. Try using the Browse dialog (folder button) so the path is built correctly.
If that still doesn't work, try removing "/Volumes" and the volume name.
None of those suggestions worked.
Thanks Randy, your suggestions actually made me realised that there was an space before the volume name 'OneShot'. After removing that space and refreshing the 'Files' pallet I tried as normal and it worked. Best wishes
I have been over this and over this and over this and am SOOO frustrated. I have checked all the spacing, entered and re-entered the file name - browsed to find it and all to no avail - this is SO maddening. What can I do? full address is: /Users/TLCpam/Desktop/TLCFiles/PamPaquet/Website2011/SpryAssets

Look at how the other paths are specified in the dialog.
Try prefixig the folder path with "/Volumes/[harddrive-name]" as you can see from other examples in this discussion.
Also, does your hard drive name have any space characters in it? What about any High ASCII or Unicode characters? Try removing any of those.
I tried browsing to get the complete '/Volumes' etc address, but it automatically shortens it to start at /Users/..., I typed it in and it does the same thing...?
