ive made a flash banner 1000x500 with lots of objects tweening etc etc photos fading in and out,and ive being told to resize the banner size to 800x300
but im having trouble when i do that,is there a way to get the everything that ive done into the 800x300 with out having to move all my objects around again and resizing each pic individualy,or do i have to start it from scratch again??
Due to the difference in ratios of w/h it is unlikely you will be able to resize anything as a one shot. But you may be able to do it in just a few... I cannot tell since I have no idea how everything is laid out. But what you can try to do is to copy timeline layers into movieclips and then resize the movieclips to fit within the new stage constraints.
If you're using classic tweens, try playing with the Edit Multiple Frames and Free Transform tools.
If you're using new motion, it's a known limitation and more manual for now -- refer to this post: http://flashthusiast.com/2009/10/06/scaling-and-moving-new-motion-tweens-in-flash-cs4/
