1. Re: Normal Windows Copy/Cut/Paste
Milan_Smith May 27, 2010 11:49 PM (in response to DavidSalahi)There is an alternative. You can drag and drop files from Bridge and into it. Just hold down the modifier keys while you Drag & Drop.
Those keys are CTRL, SHIFT and ALT. They work as copy, move and cut.
But I agree, normal copy/past would be apriciated.
P.S.
Not sure about your error, I don't have that problem, never have. What version of Bridge are you using and what OS are you runing it on?

DavidSalahi May 28, 2010 6:38 AM (in response to Milan_Smith)Thanks, Milan. That's good to know (about drag & drop).
I'm currently running CS5 Win 7 x64 but I also had the Invalid reference error back on Win XP 32 with earlier versions of the Creative Suite.

Milan_Smith May 28, 2010 8:56 AM (in response to DavidSalahi)All I know is that prior to Bridge that shipped with CS4, it wasn't my application of choice. It was way to slow, it crashed and was missing some of the features that has now, like option to view images in fullscreen.
I used ACDSee on windows. But after the CS4 and especially with CS5, Firmly stick to Bridge as my primary application for file management involving graphic.

tunghoy Aug 14, 2010 9:57 AM (in response to DavidSalahi)I'm also running Bridge CS5 under Win 7 x64, and have no problem using Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to copy and paste files. And it pastes them for real, not just by reference.

DavidSalahi Aug 14, 2010 5:23 PM (in response to tunghoy)tunghoy,
I think you misunderstand the problem I'm describing. Try this:
- In Bridge, select one or more images.
- CTRL+C to copy
- In Windows Explorer CTRL+V to try to paste—it doesn't work.

tunghoy Aug 14, 2010 8:46 PM (in response to DavidSalahi)Yes, you're right, it doesn't work in either direction. It would also be nice to have the ability to paste into a Dreamweaver file list. Even GoLive had that ability.
