Bill Hunt May 28, 2010 10:06 AM (in response to pcford)In Photoshop, turn OFF the Visibility (poke out the "eyeball") for your Sub-picture Highlight Layer, or it will be treated as a graphic. The DVD player will turn it ON, when that Button has been navigated to - same for Preview.
Good luck,

pcford May 28, 2010 10:43 AM (in response to Bill Hunt)Bill,
Thanks for answering my question....unfortunately it did not help.
Here is the preview window:

So....no difference.
I also burned a DVD and it is there as well. When you hit the button, it goes off (the subpicture highlight area) a moment before the text.
Assuming I don't lose my sanity, I have worked on this for days........If you can come up with a solution, I will shower that person with blessings.

Bill Hunt May 28, 2010 11:44 AM (in response to pcford)Are you on a Mac? If so, try changing the =1 to =2, or =3, and then in En Color Sets, adjust to the desired color. I'd try this even on the PC, just in case...
Just thinking here and good luck,
Hunt

Bill Hunt May 28, 2010 1:36 PM (in response to pcford)Sorry - just thinking there.
I have never experienced any issues (other than the limitations of the DVD-specs.) with Sub-picture Highlights.
Maybe someone else will have some useful ideas, but I am dry for the moment.
Good luck,
Hunt

7. Re: Creating CS3 Encore Menus/Subpictures in Photoshop
Stan Jones May 28, 2010 6:33 PM (in response to Bill Hunt)Bill's suggestion at post 1 should have worked.
I wondered about not having a space between the close parenthesis and the button group name/highlight name, but a menu I modified to no space still worked fine.
Another way to test is to drag a template menu into the project, then edit that in PS. don't change the =1, + for group etc, just the text/button elements. Does that work?
If you would like, post the PSD of the menu, I'll take a look. If you don't want to post it, send it to me in a PM.
