I’m new to PrePro and still learning so I’m a newbie
My sequence is an .avi video and I’m able to use the Razor Tool to cut places in the sequence but it’s only cutting the Video and not the Audio. I must have the Audio portion locked up somehow.
The Razor Tool seems tedious so I tried to use the Sequence Markers, In and Out, but nothing happens when I click Extract. I thought that would cut out the portion of my sequence I don’t want.
You need to Target both the Audio Track and the Video Track to get the behavior that you want. Just click on the Track Headers, and notice that you can Target multiple Tracks.
PS - you can also place the CTI over the Targeted Tracks and use Ctrl+K to Razor them.
Thanks again for your help Bill.
You are most welcome.
As of CS4 and the Targeting of multiple Tracks, things changed a bit. Now, one has to check Track Targeting a tad more closely.
