    Having problem with css and links

    fiveflightsup Level 1

      I created a css rule for link buttons but it does not seem to work. Would someone take a look at the css and tell me if anything seems odd. The css is link to the page i'm testing but it doesn't respond. Could it be that the type of the link has another css rule attached to it? CSS is below.

      a:link {      color: #990000;      text-decoration: none; } a:visited {      color: #990000;      text-decoration: underline; } a:hover {      color: #990000; } a:active {      color: #990000; }

      Any thoughts?

      Thanks in advance

          CSS looks OK at first glance but it's much better to give us a link to your page so we can see the live code and view everything in context.

          Code fragments or snippets are often incomplete or have unexpected consequences elsewhere on the page.

          I take it that you want reddish colored links with the underline being the only difference between them when you mouseover them?
