dreamweaver automatically trying to upload file

    Justin Vogelsang
When I try to synchronise my local site to the remote site dreamweaver tries to upload a file "temp3252.htm" (file is not visible/locatable on local computer) automatically as soon as it connect to the remote host. This causes dreamweaver to get an ftp error and prevents me from fully connecting to the remote site and sychronising.
I am running two different versions of dreamweaver (dreamweaver 8 and dreamweaver cs3) on two different macintosh computers (OSX.4.10) and both are experiencing the same error when trying to access this site. Is there a way to reset dreamweavers preferences without losing my site access details? Or maybe there is a better way to solve?

Let me make sure I understand.

DW is working fine. Then you use SITE | Synchronize Sitewide..., and DW
connects and immediately tries to upload this file?

Are both computers accessing the same local site?

Do you have VIEW | Show Hidden Files (from the expanded site panel) enabled
in CS3? And you do not see this file?

Have you tried SITE | Advanced > Recreate Site Cache?
