I am putting two instances of the same clip in different video layers. I want to make the clips larger in the monitor, not longer. How do I resize them from the center in the monitor exactly the same so that when the top layer is put in Multiply mode there will be no halos that come from manually trying to resize.
If I understand what you wish to do, I'd use the fixed Effect>Motion>Scale, keeping the Anchor Point the same (middle of the original Frame) and numerically Scale, as is necessary in the Effects Control Panel. Doing this by dragging the Bounding Box in graphical mode is less precise. When you have done this to the degree that you desire on one Clip, Rt-click it and choose Copy. Now, navigate to the second Clip, Select it and Rt-click, then choose Paste Attributes to make the same Motion>Scale change to it.
Hope that is what you want and will help.
Thanks. This is the answer I was looking for.
You are most welcome.
