Hello Everyone ,
I have a UIComponent that contains a repeater , something like this.
I am using PrintJob to print the contents/objects of the repeater. Unfortunately , only the objects of the repeater that rendered on-screen print. Is there a way to get PrintJob to print the contents of the repeater that are not on the screen ?
P.S Points will be awarded to whomever solves/helps save the world from this menacing problem.
If I recall correctly, the old hacky way to doing this was to set clipContent to false on the container you want to print out before creating the print job, and setting it back to true when the print job was done. I have no idea if this trick still works!
It made the screen look a little funny, and printing in Flex is still a pain.
Apparently there isn't a very well thought out way to handle printing offscreen components in Flex. The closest thing I can find is a PrintDataGrid component. Hadn't heard of it till now , and it looks like a hack where they add the grid to the display list , and "bitmapitize" the grid while programmatically scrolling through.
