Exporting using Adobe Media Encoder broken

I am trying to export a Premiere Pro CS4 sequence to a Microsoft DV AVI file.  The sequence includes a After Effects composition.  I was able to export an AVI from this same sequence one time before, but I'm getting the following error now:

      - Source File: E:\VideoProjects\YouthTour\whatisYLC2010\PP\whatisYLC2010.prproj
      - Output File: E:\VideoProjects\YouthTour\whatisYLC2010\wmv\ylc2010_rough3.avi
      - Preset Used: NTSC DV
      - Video: 720x480, 29.97 [fps], Lower, Quality 100
      - Audio: 48000 Hz, Stereo, 16 bit
      - Bitrate:
      - Encoding Time: 01:24:31
      6/2/2010 1:44:10 PM : Encoding Failed
      Error compiling movie.

      Unknown error.

I can't figure out any logical reason.  I haven't installed any new, other than the recent update for Photoshop CS4.  The error occurs about halfway through the encoding process, not right away.  I'm on Windows Vista 64-bit.
