How can I adjust/reduce the volume on an embedded mp3 audio file?

I am running Dreamweaver CS4 on Mac OS X 10.5.8.

      Thanks!

You can't through Dreamweaver by itself. There are Flash MP3 players, and Javascript players that have a volume control slider in the interface, but if you want to adjust the volume of the file itself, you'll need audio editing software like QuickTime Pro, Audition, Soundbooth, Audacity or a host of others. Set the volume where you want it, save the file, and then embed it.
