    trouble with collision detection methods

      We have a shockwave file (created in Max), consisting of a ‘floor’ and a 'maze' of walls,

      and then we cloned in a character model that we can move around/through the maze – it

      works fine - but we don’t want the character to move 'through' the walls.


      We have tried using modelsunderRay and the collision modifiers but neither works - yet...


      Which method would be the best for this kind of project, and are there any tricks to

      getting it to work?


      I can send files/script if anyone is interested...
