      using dreamweaver CS5 how to you apply the CSS command :hover without entering the code manually (that by using the graphical interface alone)

          You can style the hover state in the Page Properties, which you can get to through the HTML Properties Inspector. To find "Page Properties...", make sure the panel is opened all the way. It should be in the middle of the bottom section.


          Then choose Links (CSS) and put in your styles for Link, Visited, Hover, and Active states.


          To apply to text or image etc. in Design View, select the item and do Insert > Hyperlink. If you are making the chosen element into an object in order to apply a behavior, enter javascript:; into the Link field. Otherwise, you may insert a URL for a link, etc.
