What I'm trying to do seems like it should be fairly simple, so I'm hoping someone can help.
I'm creating a CD for my company with an overview, a video, and a product list. In the product list I have a button for each product that says "Open Product Brochure" and I want the user to be able to press that button and open a PDF brochure. This would be a local file on the CD, right? But how do I link it? And I'm assuming I would do this through the getURL interaction, right?
How can I do this? Thanks in advance for the help!
You cannot link to local resources with the goto url interaction, as that specific interaction expects to load something with an "http://" prefix. You can, however, create your goto url interactions and adjust them in Builder, by just removing the "http://" prefix. You might have to add a "file://" or a "/" prefix, but it should be very straightforward.
