Hello clever people,
Right. I'm an animator and have always drawn with pen and paper (old schooool) and then coloured using photography in photoshop. I'm just starting a new project where I'll be using flash for the animation. I'm very new to flash but have learnt the basics.
Question: If I am illustrating using the pen tool (black stroke), how can I easily colour each object with photography? As I am such a beginner the only way I know is to animate my sequence(s) then export a pdf sequence, and subsequently colour each frame individually in Photoshop. I'm sure there must be an easier and faster way to do this, hence the post.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's not to do with colouring! Need as much advice as I can get! Shoot!
First you need to import the image into the library. Then, after you select the fill tool to fill the drawing, in the Color panel choose Bitmap from the drop list and select the image from the mini samples.
