ok, I just wanted to add a short timelineanimation I did into an OSMF serialelement, if I use the the new SWFelement() method, the swf is not being displayed at all, if I pack the SWFElement into a DurationElement I can see the SWF, but the size is completly wrong, looks to me like a default square size of 20x20 or similar.
Below the code I'm using:
var swfEl:DurationElement = new DurationElement( 5, new SWFElement( new URLResource( video.preRoll ) ) ); serialElement.addChild( swfEl );
Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
Thanks for any help
We'd probably have to see your SWF file to be sure, but it's possible you're running into a Flash Player bug related to the application of a scrollRect (which OSMF does for all loaded SWFs) on a dynamically resizing SWF. Relevant links:
OSMF bug: https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FM-80
Tech Note w/ workaround: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/846/cpsid_84663.html
You could verify this by trying it with a constant-size SWF to see if the problem goes away.
