Why would the others rss feeds have no issues calling out but this one throws an exception?? someone told me that maybe i need to set something that allows my program to reach out beyond its local scope of my website? does this sound right?
I think this is due to the Flash Player Security..Is your Flex application SWF and your RSS feed aggregator hosted on the same domain..? They both should be hosted on the same domain ...otherwise if they are in the different domain you need to place a crossdomain.xml policy file in the Webroot of the server hosting your RSS feed.
That will do the trick....Do it and let me know if you still find any problems.

Well sir im not to sure i supposed my knowledge of domains is a bit weak. I was not sure how to go about putting my application on my website in the first place so i simply copied the entire project folder into my main section of the site. Perhaps this is where things went awry? What is the proper way to put an application on a website?
Can anyone tell me how to properly put a flex application onto a website? Im thinking my method, dropping the whole project folder, is not the best way to do it.I feel like it may be the reason im getting thrown this security exception.
The Channels don't often expose the true error nicely. If you debug the error, what it the underlying error causing the Channel Exception?
