So Acrobat does unusable transparency. We can output our 3D components to web/Java and object transparency is fine, but either Acrobat 8 or 9 we get aweful triangulation patterns that pop on and off as you rotate the view around. We've tried everything under the sun to eliminate this.
I can also output a collada file and open it in Preview no less and it displays the transparency correctly.
We've noticed quite a few problems like this with Adobe's implementation of 3D. In fact it's gotten worse with Acrobat 9 (some objects just won't display shading at all whereas they do in 8).
Is Adobe aware of these problems?
