you'll lose quality but you can create a bitmap of your movieclip (using the bitmapdata class'es draw() method), attach it to another movieclip and then print that other movieclip with printAsBitmap enabled.
can u give a example for that.. it would be more useful to me please...
And if the graphical work is more, then how it ll work.. do i get the same design when i take print out ?
if mc is your movieclip with a filter, use:
var bmpd:BitmapData=new BitmapData(mc._width,mc._height);
var pj:PrintJob=new PrintJob();
p.s. please mark this thread as answered
Dear Kglad, I salute you,
your example code is working perfectly.
Many thanks to you.. !!!
I m facing a small problem by using this printing script, It is print my MC as what i am seeing on output, but exceed the paper size (looking bigger, not fitting in to A4 size paper), i was trying on printer setup by change paper size and mark 'fit in to page' option !!! it is not working,
Can you help me to taking fine print out !!! (fit in to the paper)
use a matrix in the draw() method to resize your movieclip so it fits on the page.
Yes, we can do it thru Matix Method, once again Thanks Mr. KG !!!
