1. Re: Installation of Adobe Flash Player 10 repeatedly fails.
eidnolb onlyone Jun 9, 2010 9:39 AM (in response to cvkatlanta)Hi cv, Please post back your operating system, XP, or ? Also, what version of IE are you using? I know you use FF(Firefox)
but I need that info on IE. Also is your system a 64bit?
Until you get the Flash Player installed successfully, keep your Firewall on.
Did you get the message to from an Adobe prompt to your Desktop? Or from a website?
Thanks,

eidnolb onlyone Jun 9, 2010 9:58 AM (in response to cvkatlanta)Hi cv, I did not email you seeing I don't have your email. What you received is an email notification from the Adobe Flash Forum to advise you that someone(me in this case) has replied to your thread. When you registered here, most likely you signed up to be notified by the email notification feature.
Just reply directly to your thread as you did the first time.
(I'm very well satisfied with my email security:-)
Thanks,

5. Re: Installation of Adobe Flash Player 10 repeatedly fails.
eidnolb onlyone Jun 9, 2010 11:59 AM (in response to cvkatlanta)Hi, So the only thing you want to do is Install FP on Firefox? Have you alread run the Uninstaller?
If you already have old Flash Player files then you can't just download the new version. You need to run the Uninstaller:
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Download to your Desktop the Installer for FF:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
Follow the instructions on the Uninstaller guide. You may want to look at this Troubleshooting guide also.
