I think what u are asking is how to show progress bar in the main page of the application...............
If it is so.. then you need to get the

You need to customize your preloader,
Source is included, if you look at pl.as which is the preloader class you could modify this to suit your purpose.
in the main app you declare the preloader class
minWidth="955" minHeight="600" preloader="pl">
Just remember one rule of preloader's they can't use any flex sdk components everything has to be pure flash.

Check out these link it's a very nice and light weight Flex Custom Preloader.
You have to set the preloader in the Application root tag to your CustomPreloader class file. Check out the source.

Just part of the educational process--> fb3 and fb4 require different approaches to preloaders, so with my example (FB4) and Bhaskars link(FB3) you have both bases covered.

It happens. I thought you were after a preloader didn't realise you were after something else...at least you have preloaders covered for the future..
