There is a youtube preset in the encoding options. It works fine.
YOu should be able to get 4mins down to about 50mb with good quality.
Thanks, have looked into and i dont have a preset that says 'youtube' ...
presets include variants of PAL DV and NTSC-DV.
do i possibly need to update my version of CS5, or am i missing something else here?
Its a H.264 preset (from memory) .
You do not want a DV Preset.
Just out of curiosity, and considering what could be a lack of other Export settings, do you have the trial, or the full-paid version?
The reason that I ask is that in the trial, everything MPEG is disabled, so no MPEG (any flavor) Export settings.
yeah that was actually my question using the same pc, thanks for the help guys!!
Hello, I always use FLV/F4V on the F4V-HD 720P setting (see YouTube fincaman2) all my latest films use this format and they are great quality. I am told that this format is the native flash format that YouTube uses. A four minute film makes about a 200 mb file but you can use a lower quality setting if you wish.
