Yeah I know about Sequence..
However, what I have here is "addedEffect" which gets called when a component is added.
and in next step I use removeChild() to remove the component which then triggers "removedEffect".
i can not club them in a single Sequence..
You can add an event listener to listen for
EffectEvent.EFFECT_END whenthe "add" effect finishes, then you do whatever it is you want to do inside that.

However, it cannot be applied to a generic case.. Moreover, it's not mandatory that I add a particular component after removing another. Therefore this logic doesn't fit in here.
OK, I am pretty confused as to what you are asking for. Maybe you can explain it better.
