1. Re: The “size” pop-up window
Big Jimm Jun 17, 2010 5:12 AM (in response to Big Jimm)Sorry - one more question: I also don’t use the feature that loads the curser. It loads it when I don’t want it to. How can I also turn that off?
Thanks again.

3. Re: The “size” pop-up window
BobLevine Jun 17, 2010 5:14 AM (in response to Big Jimm)Oh, wait...are you referring to smart dimensions that show as you're dragging a frame? Look at your guides and pasteboard preferences. In the Smart Guide section you can disable it.

5. Re: The “size” pop-up window
P Spier Jun 17, 2010 6:52 AM (in response to Big Jimm)Te onbly way I can think of to get a loaded cursor (other than during a Place operation) is to click on the inport or outport of a text frame. You can't disable this, so you need to train yourself to be careful where and how you click.
The most common time I see this is when I have a text frame that is too short to show both the vertical center sizing handles and the ports, so the ports are shown. If you click and hold on teh port in that situation you should see the cursor change to the double-ended sizing arrow.
