It would be nice if, for example, you had a group with multiple layers, that you could select the group in the Layers Panel and when you create a selection and delete, it would go through each layer automatically and delete whatever contents were in the selection for that layer.
As opposed to selecting every layer manually, determiningn if there is content in it, and deleting it.
Just a "faster workflow" suggestion.
Well, you can add a layer mask to the group, which might help some of the time (no way to apply it quickly though).
True. And masking would be a more preferred, non-destructive method of removal.
