Restarting Flex server when a new jar file is loaded?

I was just wondering what is the correct procedure for restarting the Jrun/Flex server after a new jar file has been deployed to the /WEB-INF/lib/ directory?

My app has a java back-end and if the java code changes are not anything to do with the methids the Flex code calls, I wasn't sure if the server needed to be restarted or not. In this case I stopped restarting it and it worked fine. However I am just after getting an 'Invalid LOC Header' error on the jar file and have read somewhere that this may be caused by midification of the jar file? I restarted the Felx server adn it works fine again.

I'm presuming I should restart each time the jar file is updated? Anyone any better explanations here?
