Remember how WinHelp allowed you to create a non-scrolling
area at the top of a topic, and the text would scroll, but the
image at the top would remain static?
Is there any way to modify the True Code to add a static area
(using an image) in a topic? I'm a novice at coding HTML and CSS.
I've been doing some reading about these subjects, and it seems
like it just might be something that could be accomplished.
I have had some success creating the non-scrolling region,
but I'm having a problem. The .chm file has double scroll bars. I
have the non-scrolling region with a scroll bar and the viewer also
has a scroll bar.
I think this may be down to the contents of your
non-scrolling region. Things to watch out for are no-break spaces,
a lot of text combined with the NOWRAP command. Both force a line
of text to remain unbroken. If you have a table/image have you
specified a width in pixels or percentage.
