1. Re: Wrong color appearance in Ps?
D Fosse-QDEaQ1 Jun 25, 2010 6:30 AM (in response to MattBru)Most likely because Photoshop is fully color managed and the others are not. Do you have a wide-gamut monitor? That would probably exaggerate it.
In any case, what you see in Photoshop is right.
How right, depends on your monitor profile. The only way to eliminate all uncertainties is to buy a hardware calibrator. Here's a few to start with:

MattBru Jun 25, 2010 7:46 AM (in response to D Fosse-QDEaQ1)Thanks for the response DFosse!
If the color is correct in photoshop, that's good to know.
The monitor i have is LG W2600H-PF 25.5" with 5000:1 contrast ratio. Im not sure if it is wide-gamut, but i would guess it is.
Thanks for the recomendations.

3. Re: Wrong color appearance in Ps?
D Fosse-QDEaQ1 Jun 25, 2010 8:19 AM (in response to MattBru)One thing you can try just to eliminate a remote possibility is to uncheck "compensate for scene-referred profiles" in PS color settings.
