    How to create a quick, reliable "Back" or "Previous" link

    oic.now

      Thought it was time I shared a trick I learned.

      In Fireworks CS4 if your prototype uses buttons or links for Back (to previous page), or Previous (in a wizard), or modal dialogs that can be dismissed (via OK/Cancel), enter this in the object's Link: property

           javascript:onclick=history.go(-1);

      Now, no matter what you rename your pages, these links will always work to take you to the previously viewed page.

      Also, a quick alert can be created by putting this in an object's Link property:

            javascript:onclick=alert('MyMessage');

      Anybody using other javascript links?
