Was recently completing an Air 2.0 project which involved quite a lot of graphic material and found that ( not surprisingly) when installing the file it takes quite a bit of time to give the user any response ( 23 seconds or so in my PC at work) and this is occuring because all Air projects are zipped up and then have to be uncompressed for installation. Since I am distributing this via CD there is really no gain by having the file compressed, quite the opposite there is the unfortunate side effect of my customer waiting, wondering why there is no response for 20 + seconds. I was wondering if anybody knows of options to minimize the amount of compression or turn it off all together for the Air packager. If not would this be a worthwhile feature or is it just me. Any feedback would be appreciated.
