Better use the offline installer than the download manager. I can give you the download link if you tell me your operating system.
thank you for responding!
sorry to sound really dumb, but whats an "offline installer"?
and i dont know what an "operating system" is...
would that be windows XP? if so, thats what ive got...
I could use that link as well. I think I'm having the same problem, Windows 7.
Downloading software from the Adobe site often involves a "download manager", which does not always play well. You can avoid the download manager by using the "offline installer".
The download link for Windows is http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3/enu/AdbeRdr930_en_US.exe
It seems that Adobe DLM does not like the new firefox version I have tried on two machines, Vista 32bit and Winxp SP3, it quits on both machines between 60 and 94% (DLM crashes and shuts down) Manual install works
Is it just me ?
BEFORE any one says, I only use Firefox, I do not use Internet Exploiter (if I could convince the manufacturers of the install software I use to make a *nix or mac version I would get rid of M$ OS's
How come installing add-ons works for everybody else, but Adobe has to pile on their custom layer that messes things up? Is there an "offline download" for Windows 7?
