I have a number of files where I have imported a graphic into Illustrator as a PNG in order to have a transparent aspect to the graphic.
But when I print the transprent quality is lost and you get a flatterned version of the PNG instead.
Is there a file format I can save in when producing my graphics in photoshop which give the same working characteristics as a PNG but that will print exactly what I'm seeing on screen?
Why not just bring it into Illy as a PSD (Photoshop) file?
Excellent. Sometimes the answers just so obvious!
Cheers for takin the time
You are welcome, Ally.
I have the same issue he has, but importing a PSD doesn't fix it. It still flattens the png.
