So I figured out that the Flash is supposed to go wherever you place the <div id="flashContent">,
although I couldn't find any documentation saying that.
Anyway, for some reason on my page the Flash will not stay put. It wants to butt up to the upper left corner of a wrapper div, a few divs up.
No idea why. The page is here: http://www.h2xrx.com/site/color_options.php but I'm working on it so it may change here and there.
So.. you know about the HTML tab in the Flash Export?
In css, any content starts at the top left.. just like reading a book so you need to use positioning/margin/padding to move an element within a div or move the div itself with css.
It appears your page is working?
I just fixed it just now. Thank god.
What happened was there were TWO divs with an id of "flashContent".
My sidebar has a flash background. And the sidebar was there first.
When I added the bigger Flash for the content area it tried to occupy the same space as the sidebar.
There really ought to be something in the Publish settings that let you name your Flash container.
yes.. well you can always rename it to what you want via the code. Also, look into other ways of placing Flash content as maybe there is a better option for your workflow.
But, the important thing is that you discovered why your page wasn't working!
