Does anyone from Adobe answer these? If they are going to send me to their forums for support it would be cool if they checked them.
Please check your system log and paste in the log messages you get when trying to install AIR. (I assume you are using the latest AIR 2 installer from http://www.adobe.com/go/getair?) These log messages will help us diagnose the problem.

Have you recently installed Adobe CS products?
There were some permission settings with CS5 installation that caused some errors.
To test this, there are a couple of things you can try that may help.
1) Try renaming the ADOBE folder in the following paths to oldADOBE and retry install again.
- /Applications/Adobe - rename Adobe folder to oldAdobe
- /Users/"your user name"/Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe - rename Adobe folder to oldAdobe
Also: To verify that the old HD is not conflicting with new, try unmounting old for now and try install again. I suggest cleaning up old HD of AIR Runtime.
